Headline: COUNTY ASSISTS RESIDENTS BY HOSTING COMMUNITY CLEAN UP DAY
STANTON UNINCORPORATED, CA – The County of Orange’s OC Planning / Neighborhood Preservation Unit in collaboration with OC Waste & Recycling are inviting residents of the Dale/Augusta Stanton Island to partner with us for Community Clean Up Day.
As a way of assisting and reaching out to the community, this event will be an opportunity for the County to work alongside residents with the goal of a safer, cleaner and healthier community. Volunteers are welcome. Another County agency, OC Waste & Recycling, will leave six large dumpsters throughout the community for resident’s convenience.
The event will be held on January 21, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The locations of the dumpsters are as follows:
Bryant Elementary School: Orangewood parking lot
Stanton Community Center at 11822 Santa Paula
Intersection of Filmore and Nearing
Intersection of Poes and Augusta
Intersection of Yorkshire and Nearing
Mossler Street between Orangewood and Yorkshire
Household hazardous waste materials such as the ones listed below should be disposed of properly at an Orange County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center. This is a FREE service. For Stanton unincorporated area resident's convenience there is a collection center at 17121 Nichols Street-Gate 6, Huntington Beach, CA 92647 The County’s Collection Centers are open a Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
