OC Waste & Recycling partners with a diverse network of education and community organizations to expand environmental literacy and inspire the next generation of sustainability leaders. Key collaborators include Orange County Department of Education’s Inside the Outdoors Foundation, Discovery Cube OC, the Anaheim Ducks and the Angels Baseball Foundation. Together, these partnerships deliver engaging, hands-on programs that connect students and families to real-world waste reduction, recycling, and sustainability practices. Collaborative efforts include field trips to OCWR landfills and the Discovery Cube, classroom contests and hands-on sustainability education. Through these initiatives, OCWR and its partners make environmental education accessible, relevant, and impactful across Orange County communities.
