BEGINNING APRIL 16, 2021, OC WASTE AND RECYCLING WILL BE ACCEPTING TREATED WOOD WASTE (TWW) AT OUR FRB LANDFILL AND PRIMA DESHECHA LANDFILL. IF YOU ATTEMPT TO DISPOSE OF TWW AT THE OLINDA-ALPHA LANDFILL, YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW PRIOR TO DISPOSING TWW AT OCWR LANDFILLS:

  • You MUST complete the OCWR TWW manifest prior to unloading. For a copy of the manifest form, click here
  • Do NOT mix TWW with other waste.
  • Coated or painted TWW is NOT accepted for disposal.
  • Only FRB and Prima landfills are accepting TWW.

Treated Wood Waste (TWW) is wood that has been treated with chemical preservatives to protect it from insects and decay while in use. Examples of TWW include fence posts, sill plates, landscape timbers, pilings, guardrails, and railroad ties.
